摘要: An internal autonomous control system to either completely detumble a spacecraft or lessen the tumbling motions until rescue craft arrives is discussed. Such device would become active upon loss of control. The development movable mass convert disabled vehicle into simple spin presented. A state greatly facilitate crew evacuation and final despinning by an external means. moves mass, according selected law, in acceleration environment created motion. By moving properly, rotational kinetic energy may be increased decreased creating states about minimum maximum moment inertia axis, respectively. designed for latter case due its associated stability presence perturbing forces.
