摘要: Long-term precision pointing of the spin axis a spinning satellite may be impossible because attitude control systems cannot counteract effects sensor-vehicle misalignments, motion principle axes inertia, and body-fixed disturbing torques. An automatic mass-trim system (AMTS) consisting two pairs movable trim masses is proposed as means providing torques to eliminate errors resulting from these sources. analysis equations rigid body with internal moving relates dynamics mass body. Specializing geometry two-pair allows calculation torque available range through which principal set moved relative coordinates. A law for an used in conjunction previously developed spinning-vehicle controller presented analyzed using root locus techniques. analog simulation vehicle verifies design.
