摘要: This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of dietary melatonin supplementation (10 mg/kg body wt. for 4 weeks) on some erythrocytic antioxidant enzymes and lipid peroxidation as well plasma biochemical parameters in common carp. The results showed that activities glutathione peroxidase superoxide dismutase were increased significantly (p < 0.05) after supplementation, whereas alterations catalase activity not significant. Malondildehyde concentrations erythrocyte hemolysate decreased a result treatment. Plasma analysis revealed significant decrease glucose, cholesterol, albumin triglyceride, addition increase total protein, AST ALP values when compared control group. However, creatinine, urea LDH levels following values. These offer pharmacological amounts effectively improve oxidative status biomarkers also alter carp them may be undesirable. more investigations are required elucidate pharmacokinetic effects possible undesirable high doses this compound.
