摘要: The inelastic scattering of medium-energy alpha particles is interpreted as a direct interaction, using the distorted-waves theory. A deformed potential- well interaction based on collective model nucleus found to give results in good agreement with experiment. parameters potential are determined by fitting elastic scattering, and multipole deformations obtained from magnitudes cross sections agree reasonably those other techniques. effects theoretical predictions variations described. Some preliminary study including Coulomb excitation also included. (auth)
