Connecting EIA to environmental management: lessons from recent industrial estate developments in England

摘要: This paper concerns the relationship between environmental assessment and management systems in context of recent industrial estate developments. Drawing on statements interviews with developers, an examination was carried out level good practice design operation, way which this influenced by impact systems. The study concludes that system worked well within land use planning, but it failed to facilitate planning effective practice, consequence projects examined meet many criteria against they were tested. Finally, several recommendations are made strengthen continuity two.
