摘要: AbstractThe surface energies of commercially produced tinplate samples have been characterised. The were determined using contact angle measurements by both a single liquid analysis and multiliquid mixtures water diacetone alcohol. method should be treated with caution as the results are significantly affected choice liquid. multifluid methods more accurate reliable, optimum methodology for energy was developed. substrates in range 30 to 35 mJ m−2, about one third which polar nature. substrate variables assessed included levels lubricating oil, chromium passivation, tin, iron–tin alloy tin oxide well roughness. A multiparameter showed that oil most significant determining energy.
