摘要: Abstract The cerium film was prepared on tinplate by electrodeposition method. Sulfide-stain resistance of the Ce-passivated, unpassivated and Cr-passivated tinplates evaluated using a cysteine tarnish test. Corrosion behavior these in contact with 3.5% NaCl solution 0.1 M citric–citrate buffer investigated Tafel measurement electrochemical impedance spectroscopy measurement, respectively. adhesion epoxyphenolic lacquer to Ce-passivated checked cross hatch cutter. morphology, composition thickness were studied atomic force microscopy, X-ray photoelectron fluorescence spectrometry. According results, shows best sulfide-stain corrosion protection property compared tinplates. is good. composed closely packed particles about 50–200 nm diameter. mainly consists oxygen, which exist as CeO 2 , Ce O 3 their hydrates such Ce(OH) 4 . total amount 0.110 g/m
