摘要: The synthesis of ethyl hexyl ether as a suitable diesel additive was investigated using 1-hexanol and diethyl carbonate reactants acidic ion-exchange resins catalysts. Liquid-phase experiments were performed in batch reactor at the temperature range 403–463 K 2.5 MPa. formation proceeded from two routes: thermal decomposition intermolecular dehydration with ethanol. Both pathways require previous transesterification reaction between 1-hexanol. It revealed that this is favoured polymer zones 0.4 nm nm−3 density (equivalent to 2.6 diameter pores inorganic materials). Acidic containing significant volume fraction are Dowex 50W×2 Amberlyst 70. By kind catalyst, rate selectivity significantly increased. Finally, it observed working low would favour hinder undesired alkenes.
