摘要: To investigate the potential biological role(s) of PLZF gene, discovered as a fusion with RARA locus in patient acute promyelocytic leukemia harboring t(11;17) chromosomal translocation, we have isolated its murine homologue (mPLZF) and studied patterns developmental expression. The levels mPLZF mRNAs increased perinatally liver, heart, kidney, but exception they were either absent or very low adult tissues. In situ analysis expression mouse embryos between 7.0 10.5 days development revealed that proteins coexpressed spatially restricted temporally dynamic central nervous system. hindbrain region, segmental pattern correlated rhombomeres. From 9.0 development, starting first rhombomeres 3 5, there was an ordered down-regulation center each rhombomere, so 1 day later elevated to cells surrounding rhombomeric boundaries. chicken which also cloned, demonstrated similar hindbrain. date, represents only example transcription factor at high degree evolutionary conservation during mammalian avian system suggests it has important functional role regionalization vertebrate hindbrain, potentially regulating boundary cell interactions.
