摘要: Background Low back pain is a common worldwide health problem and has significant socioeconomic impact on public health. Internal disc disruption been considered as the most cause of low pain. Various therapies, including interbody fusion, replacement, injection thermal annular procedures have utilized for treatment discogenic Recently, new method intradiscal methylene blue introduced to treat pain, but clinical outcomes are controversial. Objectives To investigate magnetic resonance imaging changes Study design Observational study. Setting An interventional management practice in university hospital. Methods A total 33 patients were selected be treated with injection. The evaluated by numeric rating scale Oswestry Disability Index at pretreatment, one month, 3, 6, 12 months after treatment. involved intervertebral discs assessed apparent diffusion coefficient T2 values Results All got follow-up period up months. mean scores 6.54, 2.98, 3.23, 3.66, 4.72, respectively. There was minimum 2 points reduction 6 treatment, less than least 50% improvement not value significantly higher and12 compared there no difference between pretreatment 3 Limitations This an observational study relatively small sample size short-term follow-up. Conclusions might effective therapy could improve degeneration condition some extent.Key words: internal disruption, provocation discography, blue, injection, degeneration, resonance, imaging.
