摘要: The aim of this study was to analyze the correlation between high-intensity zone (HIZ) on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) a lumbar disc and positive pain response assessed by discography for diagnosis treatment discogenic low back (LBP). Thirty-seven patients aged 21 59 years with chronic LBP but without any neurological symptoms or herniation who underwent MRI subsequent were included in study. During discography, concordant regarded as positive, whereas discordant no negative. X-ray computed tomography (CT) after analyzed correlate HIZ MRI. A total 98 discs 37 patients; presented response, including 10 (47.6%). Seventy-seven negative 29 (37.6%). high grade annular disruption group shows proportion degree observed. However, established discography. findings confirm that presence is only suggestive screening iconography indication cannot replace gold standard should be closely integrated those thus, they play crucial role selecting operative segments multilevel degenerative disk disease.
