Analysis of Three Dimensional Structure of Iron-ore Sintercake

摘要: Three-dimensional structure of iron-ore sintercakes, which are prepared by pot test (90 mm-dia.; 400 mm-height) with varying the location in bed and Al 2 O 3 content, has been investigated use an X-ray CT a three-dimensional image analyzing system. It revealed that sintercake basically consists continuous plate-shaped matrix including numerous closed pores under-2 mm diameter intercommunicating pore. Moreover, shape matrix/pore lower part becomes round, though few changes can be detected.
