Cyclotron Resonance in the Conduction Band of GaP in Very High Magnetic Fields

摘要: Cyclotron resonance in n -type GaP was observed pulsed high magnetic fields up to 140 T using far-infrared lasers as radiation sources at 119 µm and 337 wavelengths. When the field applied along axis, second resonant peak 100 addition first 23 for a wavelength of µm, apparent anisotropy factor K * effective mass on assumption ellipsoidal band model being estimated be 19±2. For absorption broad shoulder centered 42 T, giving different value . These observations were interpreted terms camel's back structure conduction band, parameters determined by comparison data with calculation Landau levels.
