摘要: Serendipity and experiment have been a frequent approach for the development of materials methodologies used long time either cleaning or consolidation works art. Recently, new perspectives opened by application science, colloid interface science frameworks to conservation, generating breakthrough in innovative tools conservation preservation cultural heritage. This Article is an overview most recent contributions art field, mainly focusing on use amphiphile-based fluids, gels, alkaline earth metal hydroxide nanoparticles dispersions pictorial surfaces, artistic substrates, deacidification paper, canvas, wood. Future possible directions solving several issues that still need be faced are also highlighted.
