摘要: HIV infection and the progression to AIDS are characterized by depletion of CD4(+) T cells through apoptosis uninfected bystander direct killing HIV-infected cells. This is mediated in part human immunodeficiency virus, type 1 Tat protein, which secreted virally infected taken up CD178 gene expression, critically involved cell apoptosis. The differing ability strains induce death may play a role clinical biological differences displayed strains. We chemically synthesized 86-residue truncated short variant its full-length form. show that trans-activation at long terminal repeat does not correlate with but up-regulate mRNA expression dependent on C terminus Tat. Moreover, greater Tat-induced via extrinsic pathway CD95-CD178.
