摘要: Metabolic homeostasis requires that cellular energy levels are adapted to environmental cues. This adaptation is largely regulated at the transcriptional level, through interaction between transcription factors, coregulators, and basal machinery. Coregulators, which function as both metabolic sensors effectors, ideally positioned synchronize pathways stimuli. The balance inhibitory actions of corepressors stimulatory effects coactivators enables fine-tuning processes. tight regulation opens therapeutic opportunities manage dysfunction by directing activity cofactors toward specific pathways, or cells/tissues, thereby restoring whole-body homeostasis.
