An approach to and computational results on testing the form of a decision maker's utility function

摘要: In this paper we consider the problem of identifying form a decision maker's (DM) utility function. We set alternatives each defined by number criteria and assume that DM's preferences are consistent with some underlying present theory develop approaches to test whether linear, quasi-concave, quasi-convex or general monotonic our computational experience showing in almost all cases correctly identify function require very little preference information DM.
