摘要: The spectral limits of a disordered system are given in tight binding model, using general criteria for the localization eigenvalues matrices. width electronic density states is directly related to short range order and various cases disorder discussed. shape near band edges studied, an expansion its moments. Special attention paid some amorphous materials whose structure can be described by ideal random covalent network. Sharp found agreement with recent experiments on Si Ge.
