摘要: Abstract The diffusion of lysozyme chloride in aqueous solution has been studied at 25 degrees C using the Gouy interferometric technique. The concentration dependence coefficient water measured over range 1.1599-9.1556 gcm-3 and results suggest a value D 25, w infinite dilution 5.838 x 10(-6) cm2s-1. variation with ionic strength also considered by following 0.45% series potassium solutions. 0.15 M KCl found to be approximately one quarter that alone an shown increase markedly as is reduced below 0.05 M. Interpretation these observations involves consideration electrostatic effects.
