摘要: A gimbal unit for increasing the number of degrees freedom a positioning apparatus has three perpendicular rotary joints and drive motors driving each joint independently rotation about x, y z axes, first adapter securing one end to transportation device such as gantry slider or robotic arm, second opposite gripper tool. When is secured having translational tool unit, controller can control movement along axes rotational axis suitable at more work stations on table gantry.
