摘要: Whole-genome sequencing (WGS) is promising for the quality control of laboratory facilities Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB) strains. We describe clinical and characteristics false positive versus true MTB cultures based on WGS, which were experienced in a real setting. Strain harvest DNA extraction from seven isolates pre-extensive drug-resistant (pre-XDR) TB patients transferred to Korea University Ansan Hospital performed, epidemiologic links information, including phenotypic drug susceptibility test (pDST), investigated. WGS was performed using Ion GeneStudio with an ION530tm chip (average depth, ~100-fold). In phylogenetic tree, identical different strains distributed separately. Five identical; remaining two differed others. The images referred pre-XDR-TB that analyzed regions close old scars. Further, results gene mutation analysis ethambutol, streptomycin, fluoroquinolone resistance all six not concordant pDST results. information useful differentiating cross-contamination TB, thereby avoiding unnecessary treatment delay treating patients, reliable genotypic
