摘要: The bivalent chromomeres of maize were analyzed by means enzymatic treatment with trypsin. aim was to verify if the effect swelling observed in human meiotic chromosomes also occurs these bivalents, and this morphological change allows a greater visual resolution chromomeric pattern. Bivalents treated trypsin showed structure sequential linear distribution small rings. Comparisons between morphology, nontreated, indicated collinearity among sequences rings chromomeres. results obtained considered useful analyze make chromomere map. This can provide cytological evidence that may help understand pairing process. It concluded ring-shape caused trypsin-induced “disjoining” just chromorneric but not interchromomeric regions.
