摘要: Abstract Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) has become a major psychiatric and neurological issue. Resveratrol is shown to be effective on depression anxiety. However, the mechanism of anti-PTSD-like effects resveratrol remains unknown. The present study aimed explore possible molecular cellular mechanisms underlying resveratrol. Following 2-day exposure inescapable electric foot shocks, animals were administered (10, 20, 40 mg/kg, i.g.) during behavioral tests, which included contextual freezing measurement, elevated plus maze test, staircase open field test. Similar positive control drug sertraline (15 mg/kg, i.g.), deficits stressed mice blocked by (20 reversed increased time in measurement number rears test decrease entries arms without affecting locomotor activity In addition, antagonized levels progesterone allopregnanolone prefrontal cortex hippocampus. Furthermore, long-term attenuated dysfunctions hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis simultaneously. Collectively, evidence indicated that associated with normalization biosynthesis neurosteroids brain prevention dysfunction.
