摘要: Five hundred forty-three blood samples from 15populations of the four genera callitrichin primateswere studied electrophoretically. Polymorphism andgenetic distances were estimated for 20 loci, 13 which polymorphic. The lion tamarin(Leontopithecus) here exhibited theleast variability these while monospecificCebuella showed most. genetic distancesobserved between Callithrix andCebuella support previous evidenceindicating a close taxonomic relationship them.Genetic distance values obtained in this study alsosupport synonimization kuhli form with jacchuspenicillata.
