摘要: The purpose of this cross-sectional study was to explore the impact gender on health-related quality life perceptions among 67 older adults with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease who were living a spouse. Physical and psychosocial as well demographic illness-related variables compared by gender. A correlation regression analysis revealed women experienced significantly greater impairment, while preliminary support found for symptom-related impairment men. Initial recommendations nursing interventions include incorporating anticipatory guidance from late stages exploring symptoms.
