摘要: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is an important cause of morbidity and disability. Many studies have investigated factors influencing quality life (QoL) in middle-aged COPD sufferers, but little attention has been given to elderly COPD.The aim the present study was investigate impact on QoLand functional status elderly. Sixty patients 58 healthy controls over 65 years old were administered Pulmonary FunctionTests, 6 min WalkingTest (6MWD) for exercise tolerance, Barthel Index Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE) status, Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS) mood, Saint George Respiratory Questionnaire (SGRQ) QoL. FEV1 PaO2 reduced patients. Also distance walked during 6MWD significantly shorter than (282.5789.5 vs. 332.9795.2 m; Po0.01). Moreover,COPD had worse outcomes Index, GDS SGRQ. The logistic regression model demonstrated that a decrease factor most strictly related deterioration QoLin Mood also independent In conclusion, show substantial impairment QoL depending severity airway obstruction; symptoms may be exaggerated by mood
