摘要: Nd:YAG pulsed laser beam welding is conducted on UNS-C17200 copper beryllium sheet. Welding carried out in the as-annealed and as-aged conditions to investigate effects of preweld condition weld microstructure mechanical properties. Two different heat treatments including direct age treating solution annealing + subsequent are considered after welding. The microstructural characteristics metal regions (WMs) heat-affected zones (HAZ) four samples using tensile tests, hardness measurements, optical microscopy, electron X-ray diffraction (XRD). Results indicate that properties HAZ without postweld treatment adversely affected by grain boundary liquation observed if condition. Tensile strength WM improved a artificial at 315 °C for 3 hours. However, lower than base (BM) HAZ, because precipitation mechanism fusion zone not as effective BM. CuBe secondary phase precipitates during solidification. precipitates/matrix interface incoherent, which does significantly raise metal. Incoherent interdendritic dissolved structure annealing. Having performed aging, full throughout material were observed.
