摘要: Eremostachys laciniata (L) Bunge (family: Lamiaceae alt. Labiatae; subfamily: Lamioideae) is one of the 15 endemic Iranian herbs genus Eremostachys. A decoction roots and flowers E. has traditionally been taken orally for treatment allergies, headache liver diseases. Three antibacterial iridoid glucosides, phloyoside I (1), phlomiol (2) pulchelloside (3) have isolated from rhizomes this plant. The structures these compounds were elucidated unequivocally by a series 1D 2D NMR analyses. activity brine shrimp toxicity assessed using resazurin microtitre assay lethality assay, respectively. All three glycosides 1-3 exhibited low to moderate levels (MIC = 0.05-0.50 mg/mL) activity. Of compounds, compound 3 was most active, displayed against 9 12 different strains tested. noteworthy Bacillus cereus, penicillin-resistant Escherichia coli, Proteus mirabilis Staphylococcus aureus with an MIC value 0.05 mg/mL.
