摘要: Introduction: Although coronary tortuosity is relatively common in angiograms, there much debate over the significance of this anatomical variation. So study relation between significant (SCT) and artery disease (CAD) was examined. Methods: The cross-sectional included 737 patients (57% male) who were admitted to hospital for a angiography, based on their symptoms or non-invasive imaging. Coronary arteries defined as SCT are presence either ≥3 consecutive curvatures 90◦ 180◦ ≥2 ≥180◦ measured at end-diastole, major epicardial mm diameter. Results: 29.17% had which females (64.7% vs. 34.1%, P < 0.001) higher aged persons (62.9±8.4 57.8±10.7 years ± SD; significantly associated with compared non-SCT. Left anterior descending (LAD), left circumflex (LCX) right (RCA) comparison non-SCT, lesser probability CAD stenosis severity ≥50% (34.5% 46.1%; = 0.019 17.7% 31.1%; 0.001 27.9% 43.5%; 0.013 respectively) also lower Gensini scores (4.1±5.3 8.4±11.9; 0.011; 2.1±3.4 5.2±9.5; 0.01 1.2±1.9 5.03±8.9; but TIMI frame count (15.7±5.3 11.9±4.6; 17.1±4.4 12.7±4.4; 15.2±3.9 11.6±4.8; respectively). Conclusion: negatively correlated association reduced flow rate.
