摘要: Marijuana cannabinoid treatment increases Th2 activity, and previous reports showed that B cells express the highest level of CB2 mRNA relative to other immune cells, suggesting cannabinoids play a critical role in cell activation maturation. We previously reported evidence biasing class switching cannabinoid-treated antigen-challenged mice. now explore possibility directly influence antibody switching. Mouse splenic were purified by negative selection cultured with IL4 anti-CD40 presence or absence nonselective agonist, CP55940, CB1 selective methanandamide, analyzed at different days flow cytometry for surface expression either IgM IgE. Cells treated CP55940 an increase IgE day 5 culture; methanandamide had no effect. also induced secreted culture supernatants as ELISA. In addition, receptors increased on after stimulation IL-4 anti-CD40, effect was attenuated antagonist, SR144528. These results suggest bias toward Th2-type immunity inducing from through mechanism involving receptors.
