摘要: Each Mendelian locus occupies a specific point on chromosome. A linkage analysis requires two or more loci and thus involves points. When loci, as we have seen in Chap. 2 for estimating the recombination fraction between is called two-point analysis. than are analyzed simultaneously, method calledmultipoint (Jiang Zeng 1997). Multipoint can extract information from data if markers not fully informative, e.g., missing genotypes, dominance alleles, so on.
