摘要: Purpose To investigate the prevalence of visual field defects in glaucomatous eyes, glaucoma suspects, and ocular hypertensives with 24-2 10-2 fields. Design Prospective, cross-sectional study. Participants Patients or suspected tested 10-2. were classified into 3 groups on basis presence optic neuropathy (GON) abnormalities: early (GON abnormal field, mean deviation >−6 decibels [dB]), suspects normal field), (normal disc, intraocular pressure >22 mmHg). For classification abnormalities, tests performed same visit analyzed. Main Outcome Measures Comparison versus results based cluster criteria each diagnostic group. Results A total 775 eyes (497 patients) evaluated. 364 had glaucoma, 303 108 hypertensives. In group, 16 26 (61.5%) as 79 200 (39.5%) test hypertensive 28 (35.4%) African descent more likely to have an result (67.3 vs. 56.8%, P  = 0.009). Conclusions Central damage seen is often missed strategy all groups. This finding has implications for diagnosis severity.
