摘要: Immunoreactive proliferating cell nuclear antigen or cyclin (ir-PCNA), detected by immunofluorescence using a human autoantibody, was used as marker for neuroblasts during early development of the teleostean retina. In killifish (Medaka) and cyprinid (goldfish), ir-PCNA present in all retinal cells at monolayer stage (embryonic day 2 Medaka, days 3-4 goldfish). Subsequently lost, became postmitotic centre-to-periphery proximal-to-distal (ganglion first, photoreceptors last) sequence. late larvae adults, neuronal confined to ring margin scattered rod precursors outer layer. The changes localization parallel closely [3H]thymidine incorporation, reported previously.
