摘要: Janusin is an extracellular matrix glycoprotein with structural homology to tenascin. In search of components which govern the differentiation neurons in central nervous system, we have investigated influence janusin on hippocampal vitro. coated onto nitrocellulose was a good substrate for attachment cell bodies and neurite outgrowth after 21 h culture. Most cells exhibited polarized morphology one long major or two short minor neurites. When polyornithine-conditioned plastic surface, it increased polarity that length neurites number were decreased when compared control without janusin. As shown before tenascin, laminin fibronectin, polarization preceded by increase all during first hours plating. This study therefore adds increasing glycoproteins promote axonal but not dendritic growth.
