摘要: Abstract The C-C chemokines human monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 and −3 (MCP-1 MCP-3) mouse JE FIC are potent activators of monocytes. Several receptors for MCP-1 MCP-3 have been cloned from monocytic cell lines, one these receptors, CCR2B, binds both MCP-3. Thus far, no murine or reported. We a novel chemokine receptor, designated CCR2 (mCCR2), the line WEHI265.1. predicted 373-amino acid sequence mCCR2 shows highest identity (80%) with CCR2B. When stably expressed in embryonic kidney 293 cells, specifically bound I-JE high affinity. was less than competing binding to mCCR2-expressing while three other chemokines, MIP-1α, C10, N51/KC, did not compete. mccr2 mRNA expression detected elicited peritoneal macrophages as well several organs. cloning provides an important tool investigate monocyte/macrophage responses FIC, identify targets their action, potentially study models function mouse.
