摘要: Abstract Ti 3 SiC 2 doped with various contents of TiC coated multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) were fabricated by spark plasma sintering. The effect MWCNT content on friction and wear properties MWCNT–Ti composites was investigated in this paper. results showed that 3 wt.% MWCNTs had the best mechanical tribological properties, relative density Vicker's microhardness 98.7% HV 1 806.2 respectively. When counterpart GCr15 steel ball, coefficient rate 0.40 1.80 × 10 −4  mm  N −1  m at load 10 N sliding speed 0.234 m s for 20 min room temperature. Whereas, Si N 4 ceramic ball counterpart, 0.52 4.87 × 10 excellent performance could be attributed to synergetic enhanced matrix, which provided good deformation resistance high bear capacity, as well balance between strength lubricity.
