摘要: Abstract TiC/Ti 3 SiC 2 composites were successfully synthesized by laser melting (LM) technique using Ti–Si–TiC with a molar ratio of 1:1.2:2 as starting powders in the holding time range 15–60 s. Phase content and microstructure samples analyzed X-ray diffraction (XRD) scanning electron microscopy (SEM) energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS). The synthesis was extremely fast because migration solute mainly depended on convection mixing molten pool caused intense beam which far faster than solid state diffusion traditional methods. apparent density hardness are higher Ti existence TiC phase.
