摘要: The papilionoid legume tribe Brongniartieae comprises a collection of 15 genera with disparate morphologies that were previously positioned in at least four remotely related tribes. displays wide geographical disjunction between Australia and the New World previous phylogenetic studies had provided conflicting results about relationships American Australian genera. These resulted well-resolved strongly-supported tree monophyly is strongly supported. doubtful position Plagiocarpus resolved within clade comprising Behaimia has been traditionally classified Millettieae, but our new molecular data re-assessment morphological traits have early-branching Characters including pinnately multifoliolate (vs. unifoliolate) leaves, sessile stipitate) ovary, an indehiscent or late dehiscent one-seeded pod distinguish from its closer relatives, South Cyclolobium Limadendron.
