On the synthesis of MVMT functions for PLA implementation using CCDs

摘要: A new programmable logic array (PLA) for implementation of multivalued multithreshold (MVMT) functions using charge-coupled-device (CCD) technology is introduced. It shown that the number realized proposed structure larger than those authors' previously reported PLA structure. For example, all 256 four-valued three-threshold can be synthesized only one column PLA, as compared with two columns if existing used. This increase in functionality achieved through increasing gates per from 8 to 12. The exhibits desirable feature being dynamically reprogrammable at user level by controlling thresholds synthesis procedure which used synthesize MVMT given. >
