摘要: A new method to implement multiple-valued logic in large scale integrated circuits is introduced. The data are represented by discrete amounts of charge a charge-coupled device. In this paper the design principles and realizations four-valued minimum maximum circuit, complement literal successor, an adder presented. Also, designs binary-to-quaternary converter vice versa discussed. Charge-coupled devices offer low-power consumption, high-packing density, possibility perform MOST-IC compatible any arbitrary radix.
