Beyond parametrics: The role of subjectivity in cost models

摘要: Abstract Cost models often do not perform as expected or advertised. Part of this problem lies with the developer and part user. This paper suggests responsibilities both parties. In addition, it examines pitfalls applying based entirely upon empirical data to estimate costs new technologies. Airframe cost estimating are used examples incorporating subjective information into illustrate how where variables might change under different circumstances.
