摘要: For almost two decades epidemiological studies have addressed the question of whether exposure to residential power frequency (60 Hz) magnetic fields (MF) is associated with an increased risk lymphoma/ leukemia. However, only carefully controlled MF involving large numbers animals resolve this issue. One animal model particularly suited observation promotional effects ionizing radiation-induced lymphoma in C57 Black mice described by Kaplan and Brown (1). This not demonstrates x-irradiation dose-responsive incidence, but also suscep-tible promotion chemical agents as well, therefore may afford one best opportunities for evaluation both carcinogenic potential capabilities chronic MF.
