摘要: A number of mechanisms have been proposed as explanations for the recovery motor function which follows CNS lesions in adult mammals (for reviews see Goldberger 1974; Lawrence and Stein 1978). One these is axonal (collateral) sprouting from intact fibers response to loss projections a terminal field damaged axons overlap. Sprouting spinal cord new or additional terminals particular system might strengthen reflex control exerted by that (cf. Pubols 1980). The resulting enhancement reflexes could mediate if enhanced were substituted lost due lesion. According this scheme movements recover differ some respects lost, although their overall adaptive value be similar normal movements. Furthermore, one anticipate that, after lesion, not all remaining systems contribute equally will respond an equal extent. most proximate anatomically whose nearly approximates initially expected predominate.
