Gangliosides with O-acetylated sialic acids in tumors of neuroectodermal origin.

摘要: Gangliosides, carrying an O-acetylated sialic acid in their carbohydrate moiety, are often found growing and developing tissues, especially of neuro-ectodermal origin. The most prominent one is 9-O-Ac-GD3, which considered as oncofetal marker animal human tumors like neuronal tumors, melanoma, basalioma or breast cancer, well psoriatic lesions. Also other gangliosides GD2 GT3 were to be terminal acid. In this review we summarising the occurrence such normal transformed tissues delineate a more general theory that acids universal for cells tissues.
