摘要: Unilateral tapping studies have shown that adults adjust to both perceptible and subliminal changes in phase or frequency. This study focuses on the responses abrupt/perceptible gradual/subliminal auditory–motor relations during alternating bilateral tapping. We investigated these participants with without good perceptual acuity as determined by an auditory threshold test. Non-musician (nine per group) alternately tapped their index fingers synchrony cues set at a frequency of 1.4 Hz. Both groups modulated (with no after-effects) low 5° change phase. The high-threshold were more variable than gradual condition set. demonstrated synchronization asymmetry between dominant non-dominant hands associated abrupt later blocks condition. Our findings extend previous work unilateral suggest (1) relationship discrimination integration (2) noisier sub-cortical circuitry those higher thresholds.
