摘要: Health-related quality of life (HRQL) improved progressively during therapy and beyond in children treated for acute lymphoblastic leukemia on the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) 95-01 protocol. This study aimed to validate that trajectory a successor (DFCI 00-01) compare HRQL patients 2 studies. Children aged above 5 years were assessed each phase treatment (N=4) after completion therapy. Health status measured using Utilities Index (HUI) instruments, HUI2 HUI3. Quality-adjusted (QALYs) calculated compared with general population, DFCI 95-01. Over intervals 758 HUI assessments, mean increased from remission induction time (P<0.001). During intensification, high-risk had lower than standard-risk induction, 00-01. Patients 00-01 ~0.2 0.3 fewer QALYs controls, by HUI3, respectively. similar those patients. The improvement was confirmed.
