摘要: Left ventricular non-compaction (LVNC) is a heterogeneous myocardial disorder characterized by prominent trabeculations and inter-trabecular recesses which may occur in association with congenital heart disease (CHD). To date, few studies have been performed to assess whether the concomitant diagnosis of LVNC affects outcomes CHD surgery. A retrospective review patients (LVNC-CHD), 0–5 years age, was conducted. Patients without (CHD-only) age similar distribution were selected for comparison. Perioperative data, including diagnosis, operative course, postoperative complications collected compared between groups. LVNC-CHD diagnosed 26 children. Of LVNC-CHD, 20 underwent surgery these 276 CHD-only controls. Median total length stay hospital 12.5 days (IQR 5.5–63 days) 5 3–10 (p < 0.005). Postoperative death, cardiac arrest, or need ECMO transplantation occurred 6/20 (30 %) 3/276 (1 group 0.0001). had significantly longer higher perioperative abnormalities. Pediatric care teams should be cognizant possibility increased risk associated LVNC. Future prospective are warranted.
