摘要: Trop2 is a cell-surface glycoprotein overexpressed in variety of late stage epithelial carcinomas with low to no expression normal tissues. Some the important roles that plays cancers have recently been revealed. overexpression associated decreased patient survival as well increased tumor aggressiveness and metastasis. Its metastatic tissue makes it very attractive potential therapeutic target for disease. This protein can transduce an intracellular calcium signal contains conserved phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate (PIP(2)) binding motif serine phosphorylation site which interacts kinase C. has being found be expressed cells stem-like properties allude role progenitor cell biology. Further understanding signaling pathways involved this molecule its metastasis will shed new light on mechanism disease could result development therapies targeting widely oncogene.
