摘要: This study (referred to under the acronym GARP I1) was undertaken with objectives of: (a) Assessing feasibility of preparing, at EU level, monetary valuations environmental damages caused by economic activities. The assessment should focus on scope for making in a consistent manner all countries, accuracy estimates obtained, and extent covered valuation. Issues be discussed include transferability studies damage across countries over time, which are already internalized through costs pollution control. (b) Reporting some initial national level studied detailed analyses: Germany, Italy, Netherlands United Kingdom. Where valuation is not feasible, reporting results terms physical impacts. (c) Comparing methods other assessing or ‘pressure’, such as expert based approaches.
