摘要: The dimorphism of weapon size in a stag beetle, Prosopocoilus dissimilis okinawanus Nomura was examined. relationship between and body became curvilinear when head length included as part size. However, it used sigmoid obtained. Males could not be separated into two groups nine traits were analyzed using principal component analysis (PCA). the angle mandible (AN) addition to traits, males distinct (i.e. S L types). When each plotted against AN, type sub-groups all combinations S1 S2 groups). showed that increased with quadratic manner type, whereas diminishing type. difference types is discussed relation their combat behaviors.
